In these days......

As my CU student card is about to expire, I rushed to CU library today to return 10 books. Before I returned the books about Readers Theatre, I photocopy some playscripts and pedagogy about RT. I'm glad that th RT scripts include some famous literature like"A Tales of Two Cities" and "Silas Marner". I'll soon adapt the materials a bit before using it next semester (Maybe I'll further contextualize the stories/ or even invite some students to write playscripts with me). It's so nice that kinda experiential pedagogy is part of the culture in HKSC.

After the Student Orientation Day and the staff meeting yesterday, my brain was further bombarded by correcting about 60 test papers at home. That's why I didn't sleep well last night. No matter how tired I am, I still want to emphasize that I love the school and all the staff at this school (including the Creative Director/ School Artist---May Fung). It is their 'fire' enlightens me and retrieve my inner desire to rediscover the beauty in life. It is the core value here....that helps me to remember my forgotten habits about painting, music and writing poems.

With my eyes half-closed, I went to Leung Shek Chee College in the afternoon to prepare the teaching materials for F.1 bridging course. Thanks God that I have such a nice colleague, Vince, whom I can work well with. Lucikly, I've finished preparing all these materials (including the language games) smoothly within 1.5 hours. So~~~encouraging!

Being recommended by Prof. Lin, I was invited by a panel head in a sec. school in Tuen Mun to develop some course materials for the school. After spending much energy to reject this offer, I finally surrendered under her sincere requests (through emails and phone calls). Before attending the Musical Worshop & Retreat Camp in Ling Kei Campsite, I need to go to Tuen Mun in the morning.

Anyway, I just wanna give all my praises to God who guides me through these days and cultivate my skills in playing guitar. All these are my driving force to be the romanticist in Chaos----The Courage to BE.
